Dear Private/Parochial School Parents/Guardians:
For transportation planning purposes, please be aware that all students who are applying for acceptance to a private/parochial school for the first time, and those students who will be returning to their private/parochial school must request transportation services.
For your convenience, attached please find the district’s Request for Special Transportation Form. This information is also included on the district’s website at www.farmingdaleschools.org. The New York State Education Department requires that all such requests be in the hands of the district on or before April 1st regardless of the acceptance date.
Please note transportation will not begin until the official start date of the district’s school year.
In addition, the Farmingdale School District utilizes a text notification system called ParentSquare to inform parents/guardians about both urgent and non-emergency situations. Please indicate your consent to be included in urgent ParentSquare notifications only.
